Sophadoph n Puddums Friends are something that everyone needs in their life. They help you get through the rough patches and through the funny times in life. This is why I believe everyone should have a friend like mine, Sophie. When you think of some your good friends, what comes to your mind?? To me when I think of a good friend I think of my friend Sophie. She is someone who is always reliable, funny, crazy, loyal and she always has my back. When me and sophie first met we had a friend named ryleigh and she had invited me and sophie and a couple other people to her house. Later during that night me and sophie were just very annoyed with all of the squirmie girls and we just bonded way better than any of the other girls, so me and Sophie had snuck out of ryleighs, and we walked to sophie’s house that was not that far away and once we got to sophie's house, me and her we just clicked so well and after that day we have hung out almost every day since. For instance, when me and Sophie have been pushed in to certain situations like this one time me and sophie went to a small get together and there was a lot of bad vibes with everyone and there was a lot of older people and they had been drinking, and yelling, I was just not feeling it so I told Sophie we need to leave, so I called someone to come and get us. We went to sophie's and we just had a sophie and pud night and we just chilled out and watched some movies for the rest of the night. One day I had had one such a horrible day and I was just so sad, I could not stop crying and I went to Sophie's house and I just felt my mood chance to a heart warming mood when I saw her and I just gave her the fattest hug and my whole mood was way different the the rest of my day, just having sophie by my side makes me feel better about my life. Sophie is someone who knows me so well even sometimes better than myself, for example I get really crazy when I mad or when I am sad and I will yell at sophie and I can say hurtful things and sophie is the one is still by my side and knows how to handle me when I am like that. She supports me and my crazy ideas no matter how crazy they are. I know that sophies a real one is because she still if my friend to this day and If I didn't have a friend like her I have no clue who I would be today, she has helped me through more thing I can even imagine. In conclusion I believe that everyone at least one good friend to have your back no matter what is happening in your life, even when you are going through a rough patch with each other you will always have their back NO MATTER WHAT.

Use of Class Time I used my class time effectively the great majority of the period each day throughout the whole project.
I consistently found ways to contribute to the overall success of the play.
I spent a great deal of time out of class to bring the project to life. I used class time effectively for the better part of the period every day.
When the show was approaching, I kicked it into high gear and made it happen with my peers, showing up and going the extra mile when it really mattered.
I used class time effectively for some of the period each day, but some class time was often wasted on phone scrolling, shenanigans, wandering, teen angst, daydreaming, etc.
When the show was approaching, I helped out during class
I wasted a great deal of class time and participated minimally in the production of the puppet show.
During the Shakespeare puppet show in the beginning we all kind of slacked off and did not have motivation and for me in the beginning I would give myself a 7-8 but once everyone started really pulling there part it came together better than it was and I just feel like we definitely need like a motivational speed in the project and by the end of the project I felt like I was a 8-9 and i had a lot of fun just being to be silly wit our classmates.
2. 21st Century Skills Reflection 21st Century Skill Choose 2 skills that helped you rise to the occasion during this project. For each, give a thorough explanation of how the skill brought out your best work.
Adaptability
During the project I did not understand how to really make the puppets but once we really got into it and i asked for help and I was just helping around with the stage and making the puppets ready for the show.
Curiosity/Creativity/Imagination
I had creativity making the puppets and making the puppets look pretty and making sure that there was accessories for the puppets, also with organizing the backstage so that it was easier for us
Choose 2 skills that you want to work on in future endeavors. For each, explain how the skill would have helped you contribute more fruitfully to this project.
Initiative
I need to take Initiative when I do not know what to do and instead of asking look for resources that will help me figure it out.
Effective Communication
During the beginning of the project I was not really motivated but I feel like once we like got in the mojo of the puppets and setting up it got easier and next time if we were to do this we would need to communicate way more.

Indeed, you may identify other 21st Century Skills that you discover you are using in this project on a regular basis. Good for you, Osprey! Use those in your documentation and reflection!
Project Reflection (due Tuesday, April 30th) REMEMBER TEA! T: Give each paragraph a strong topic sentence. E: Use specific examples from your project experience and refer to your 21st Century skills. A: Explain your points thoroughly with your personal commentary. You should be writing robust, detailed paragraphs that develop the idea of the topic sentence. ¶ 1. How did you connect to this project? What did you like about it? Describe your best moment(s). I connected to this project because we were all able to work together and making the puppets all the little cute this was super fun! In the beginning I didn't really want to do anything because I didn't really know what I was really doing but I got some help and once I knew how to do the puppets it all sort of started to make sence and one thing that was just super fun to me was just being able to work with our classmates the way we did. ¶ 2. How was this project difficult? What was most challenging? Describe an instance when you had to persevere through something difficult. A couple of thing were difficult in this puppet show, for me was it was just really figuring out how to make the puppets and make them presentable, also just making sure we had all the right puppets that we really needed and with all the snow days it kind of threw me off just really getting started with what to do.
¶ 3. and ¶ 4 Discuss several distinct ways that you grew during this project (as a learner, collaborator, leader, actor, human, etc.). What new realizations do you have that you will take with you into future projects and experiences? (NOTICE: This is two separate paragraphs with two separate ideas!) Within doing this project I feel that I had grew in some ways but I most definitely could have done better. For example when I was doing some of the puppets I didn’t know which ones to do and I don’t really ask I just didn’t know what to do so would do something else like decorating other puppets, and if we were to do this again I would really be able to do it way better because I do have a better understanding of what it takes to do a mini show and you have to put a lot of time and effort in to it.
¶ 5. Now that you have finished your study of Shakespeare, how would you answer this essential question: Why, 400 years later, does the English-speaking world still gravitate/celebrate the works of William Shakespeare I feel that we still study Shakespeare 400 years later because we can relate to some of his characters and the things they are trying to say, because when we are in certain situations we do the things that have been done in Shakespeare’s plays.

Socialization and Liberation: Identity Mask Project
My mask
My mask Paragraph
REFLECTION
Project Description: In this project we learned about the cycle of socialization and figuring out who we are. The cycle of socialization explains how we are socialized into ourselves, How we see ourselves, and how others see us. Different experiences and influences in my life have made me into who I am today. We also learned how to liberate ourselves from society's “norms” in order to be our own person. The cycle of liberation is how we gain information on our society and interpret weather or not we are willing to participate in the “norms”.
My Project: During this we make masks made out of plaster and plastic, we had partners and our partner plastered our face and I feel like that was a really big trust thing to me because it was kind of scary to no be able to breath and have the trust in your partner to mess around with you during this. Once we were done plastering we started to draw on our masks and I really did not know what to do at first but i finally got the idea to do what has impacted my life most and how it has shaped me to who I am today. Refinement: If we did this project again there would be a few thing I would do differently, first I would start on the essay so I could get more revisions and have a better idea for what to paint on my mask. Then I would connect a complex metaphor that represents myself and my growth in life. This would make the exhibition less stressful because I would have a deep meaning behind my mask and paragraph. Exhibition: During our exhibition we stood behind tables and our masks and paragraphs were in front of us so our family and community members could read and look at our masks. This was helpful because we were in a horseshoe shape which allowed everything to go with the flow. The one thing that was hard was to hear what people were asking about my mask because there was a lot of people. One thing that was interesting to me was that a lot of people said I was strong and that was pretty cool.
